The JVP Rabbinical Council

The Jewish Voice for Peace Rabbinical Council has come together to speak out on behalf of justice for all peoples in the Middle East. A fast growing network of rabbis, cantors and rabbinical students, we support each other through bi-annual in-person gatherings, in our Mentorship and Support Program, and ongoing consultation. Since our founding in 2010, Rabbinical Council members’ writing has been  published in outlets such as Ha’aretzThe ForwardHuffington Post and the JTA. These and more can be found on our blog, www.PalestinianTalmud.com . We create ritual materials and alternative Jewish liturgies for JVP, and provide support for JVP members, chapters, and campaigns. Many individual members are available for speaking and training events.

The Council is co-chaired by Rabbis Brant Rosen and Laurie Zimmerman and is supported by JVP’s Director of Campaigns, Rabbi Alissa Wise.

Please note that members of the JVP Rabbinical Council may not endorse or support every action, campaign, or statement made by JVP.

If you are a rabbi, cantor or a rabbinical or cantorial student interested in joining, or to send the Rabbinical Council a message, email rabbis@jewishvoiceforpeace.org.
